The CEO of Marriott Vacations worldwide Stephen P. Weisz said the purchase was in response to customer demand when he stated

We are truly excited to add this amazing destination to our portfolio and to welcome Owners and guests to this striking property where they will be surrounded by the beauty and hospitality of Australia.”

This is fantastic news for owners who now have the opportunity to visit one of the most popular destinations in Australia with their Marriott Vacation Membership.

The resort will converted into 88 timeshare vacation villas in a combination of studios and one bed units.

From each villa guests can expect fantastic views of the Pacific Ocean and the stunning Nerang River and mountains. If that wasn’t enough the resort features include crystal clear lagoons, sandy beaches, waterfalls and tranquil pool zones.

If you didn’t know already Australia’s gold coast enjoys over 300 days of sun per year and is one the most popular destinations for visitors to the country.

The area is home to some of the best surf beaches in the world, national parks and several theme parks and attractions.
