Jazz things up
The Saint Germain des Prés Jazz Festival celebrates its 17th edition this year in Paris. Concerts will take place at different locations along the Left Bank, including concert halls, cafés, and theatres.

A day at the races
If you only attend one race meeting this year then make it the Grand Steeple-Chase de Paris. Pack your best hat in your hold luggage, and dress up for a weekend at the races, at the Hippodrome d’Auteuil.

Design it right in Paris
The D’Day Design Festival takes place as trail through Paris for almost a fortnight in May. It covers Palais-Royal, Bac Saint-Germain, Marais-République-Bastille and Grand Paris-Pantin-Ourcq. Admire innovation through design, and there are also workshops to keep the kids amused.
When? May 2nd to the 14th.
Anyone for tennis?
Clay court tennis takes centre court at the end of the month, with the beginning of the Roland Garros international tournament. Spot famous names and mingle with the crowds at the French Open.

A night at the museum
Step back, Ben Stiller. Actually held all over France, for just one night. A fun evening of discovery, the kids will love spending the night at the museum.
